There are events in our lives that bring us a revelation of what matters most. For rapper, MrBigFaith, that life-altering event was a near-death experience. He realized that Jesus is the Lord of all and that the Word of God is the truth and that we must live it out.
Michael Brown, aka MrBigFaith, always had a passion for music from the beginning. Yet, it was only recently that he realized that he was created to use his talents to glorify God and to influence others positively. The ex-gangster turned his life around and dedicated himself to creating songs that minister truth and performing them for the world.
The Los Angeles-based rapper and artist received a prophetic word in 2017, confirming that he would be using his music as a form of ministry “to reach the streets.” Since then, there have been tests and road bumps, but the artist chooses to fight for his calling and passion. He attributes his strength to his faith in Yahweh/God.

MrBigFaith has released two EP albums to date, “Big Faith” and “Shift.” His songs include tracks like “Skrrr,” “Good God,” “Ruach,” “Ima Keep Fighting,” “Street Apostle,” “Life’s A Trip,” “Beginning of the End,” and “Don’t Let Me Fall.”
The foundation of Big Faiths’ music and work is the Word of God. “We prioritize having a strong grounding in the revelation of the Word of God,” says Mr. Faith. “We stand for Christ, not just music.”
To MrBigFaith, his music is but a conduit of his higher purpose. Brown shares that his calling in life is to bring awareness to the love and truth of God.
Brown also takes an active role in the community, regularly serving with “Hope On Skid Row” on 5th and Crocker in Los Angeles. The outreach is an initiative by Koreatown House of Prayer. The ministry formed a team that heads over to Skidrow, one of LA’s most drug-infested and crime-ridden areas, weekly to perform public outdoor worship and prayer ministry. Part of that team is MrBigFaith himself. The group holds worship services on Sundays and consistently does outreach where they pray for others and preach the Good News on the streets.
The ex-gangster turned inspirational musician has seen a great deal of success on social channels. His Instagram account currently has more than 11,000 followers. The rapper is also the owner and founder of “All Praise Be To God,” a brand of Christian clothing in Los Angeles. The brand carries merchandise, including hoodies, t-shirts, pins, and stickers.
