Not often do artists get the chance to work with some of the best in the field to create music that dominates the scene in terms of quality musicianship and crowd appeal. That’s why rap artist Its Ibby is exceptionally grateful to have the opportunity to be working with some of the best mentors rap music can offer.
The Palestinian artist has been in close collaboration with multiplatinum producer TrellGato and loop master and hip-hop artist B-rackz. The once in a lifetime opportunity comes after Its Ibby showed the rap scene and significant players that his beats and performances are ready to hit national and even global markets. Being under the wings of multi platinum artists is not an opportunity Its Ibby is taking lightly. While already extremely talented, the rap artist knows that everyone has room for improvement, even the best of the best.
The rap artist has performed and released three rap tracks, including “Hol’on Wait,” “Talk My Shit” featuring J Bentayga, and “More Life” featuring Lil Chuckee. Currently, production house 4EZ is working on the music video for Its Ibby’s hit single, “Hol’ On Wait,” and will be ready for release very soon.
Its Ibby has spent two significant chapters of his life living in the United States and the Middle East. He grew up in Abu Dhabi but later moved to Fort Worth, Texas, with his family. Today, he’s based off Florida but makes trips regularly to Georgia to work with his music mentors.
In retrospect, Its Ibby looks back at his journey and is only motivated to keep pushing forward. He has spent a great deal of his life in pursuit of his love for music, and he can’t imagine being in any other path. Its Ibby hopes to one day have a global platform to share his music with listeners all over the world and inspire as many people as they can to keep pursuing their passion. While he dreams big, he doesn’t work for money or fame. He looks only to keep producing music he enjoys and hopefully gain a comfortable living doing it.
While Its Ibby is of Palestinian descent and writes and performs in the United States, the artist also has a loyal and thriving fan base in Germany. His diverse background from living in two polar opposite cultures has allowed him to develop a sound and flavor that has an international reach. He hopes to expand his network of listeners to other countries as well.
Rapper Its Ibby carries an original message for students today. While most successful professionals advocate dropping out of the school system as early as possible, Its Ibby encourages others to stay in school. He explains that not everyone’s story is the same. What might work for successful dropouts might not necessarily work for all. He urges the youth to pursue education to the extent that they can create a foundation for them to pursue and reach their goals. Its Ibby is, after all, a Texas Tech University graduate with a degree in industrial, manufacturing, and systems engineering. And while he took on a different path, he owes his success to his college days, where he learned to persevere, network, and grow.To follow Its Ibby, check the rap artist out on Instagram, @_itsibby_, and Spotify.
