Much of today’s greatest artists and creatives are characterized by the desire to share their craft with the world. By anchoring their ventures and endeavors in something bigger than themselves, they are able to bring a positive and meaningful impact into their respective communities. And as one of those who pursue purpose over success, JoshDeanSavage, an up and rising artist, is bound to take the hip-hop and rap industry by storm.
Establishing a venture or releasing any creative output in an industry that is already saturated with powerhouses will always prove to be a daunting and intimidating feat to achieve. For this reason, only a few brave ones can dare to dip their toes into their chosen field without any fear of losing out or ending up with nothing to show for. And as someone who is immensely passionate about his craft, JoshDeanSavage believes that music will always be worth the risk.
Throughout the years, music has served as a formative medium for self-expression and a vessel for conveying thoughts and emotions. Although some artists have come to consider it a channel for leisure, amusement, and entertainment, other musicians like JoshDeanSavage, see music as a life-changing tool that wields the power of transformation.
Growing up in a small town called Grand Junction in Colorado, budding artist JoshDeanSavage has his eyes set on dominating the realm of hip-hop and rap. Coming from an unstable home and unpredictable family, he is intimately familiar with the challenges and tribulations that life has to offer. And in an interview, he shared that music was his haven. Through this craft, he was able to keep himself from falling apart.
According to JoshDeanSavage, he began writing music during his early teenage years. At that time, he had just recently moved to Buffalo, New York with his best friend. And after four years of being engaged in his element, he continues to draw inspiration from prominent artists like Drake, 21 Savage, Post Malone, Juice Wrld, Liz Uzi Vert, Snow Tha Product, Trippie Redd, XXXTENTACION, and many more. JoshDeanSavage’s producer is Ryan Alan, who has worked with artists such as Bhab Bhabie, Diplo, Tay Keith, Charlie XCX, Clean Bandit and THEY.
Looking back on his journey, JoshDeanSavage cannot be any more grateful for the people he met along the way, such as his friend, MacLee. Today, these two pals have a song together called 4 Score. And with no plans of slowing down any time soon, JoshDeanSavage continues to record his songs at Side 3 Studios in Denver, Colorado. Some of his works include “Veto,” “Make You Famous,” and “Stayed One,” all of which are engineered by Ryan Alan, who has worked with prominent artists like Post Malone.
Although JoshDeanSavage is now taking his career to greater heights, he shared in an interview that life has not always been smooth sailing for him. Just like most people, he also had to deal with his inner demons. But according to this young artist, music serves as a safe harbor every time he starts to slip into darkness.
After everything he has been through, JoshDeanSavage has shown that accomplishing great things takes time. And using his previous experiences as an example, he amplifies the importance of perseverance and resilience in pursuing dreams.
