Shaking up the music industry today is the rising musician King Uche as he leads a global afro takeover. To fulfill his vision of a United Africa, the talented musician established Sufferings and Offerings music label to provide a safe space and inspirational platform for aspiring artists to thrive and celebrate musical milestones while turning their dreams into reality. Today, he hopes to use his music label as a platform connecting diverse artists from all over the world while inspiring the African youth to believe in themselves, chase after their dreams, and walk their purpose.
Born in Imo State, Nigeria, to Igbo ancestry, King Uche, also popularly known as “The Flygerian,” holds his Nigerian roots close to his heart even after moving to the United States when he was still young. Since then, he has dreamt of building a United Africa where new-generation youth worldwide will experience belongingness and acceptance as they learn to embrace one another’s differences. He envisions a world where dreams can manifest and are “free from the bondage that most youths from poverty-stricken countries face.” Determined to get this message across, he discovered that music was the most powerful way for his voice to be heard. From this, he started rapping, and eventually, he launched his music label Sufferings and Offerings Music “S&O” as a way to amplify other voices as well. Overall, the S&O music hub serves as full-service management, publishing, & distribution center for music.
For King Uche, Sufferings, and Offerings, Music started as a vision for a better tomorrow. “I started this company in order to connect to my brothers worldwide and present our talents to the world,” he shares. Now, the label is open to all undiscovered talents ready to use their voice to inspire others.
At present, King Uche is disrupting the music industry like no other. He has amassed more than 21,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone. His latest EP, “Flygerian Music,” is currently dominating the streams as well, and the album’s tracks share the singer’s story. From his debut single “Danny Phantom” to his recent hit “Oya,” the talented singer continues to capture the attention of listeners all over the United States and across Europe. His music narrates inspiring stories of struggles and success that aim to empower afro-centric youth from all over the world. Essentially, he creates songs for those who have been struggling in life yet continue to seek happiness.
In the future, King Uche hopes for his music label to soar to greater heights. He has his eyes on holding motivational conferences, tours, and stadium concerts. On top of this, he also plans to give back to the community by giving out scholarships for the youth. Most of all, he hopes to continue making more powerful music that will positively impact the lives of people from Nigeria, America, and the world.
