Launching one’s talent as an artist to the world is difficult. But Andrea Cordero, better known as AddiRockART, strives to uplift aspiring creatives and help them become the best versions of themselves. With her comprehensive experiences as an artist, actress, and audio engineer, the thriving talent powerhouse hopes to leave a significant impact in the entertainment industry by bridging individuals to their dreams.
As a daughter of a Mexican immigrant, AddiRockART faced the challenges of emerging as an artist who’s part of a minority. The journey was never a walk in the park, but the artist had a clear vision of where she wants to go with her talent and the message behind her creative work. Through art and music, AddiRockART aims to amplify and highlight social issues affecting women and minority groups today. She is also a PTSD survivor, and he wants to share her story with others who deal with or have dealt with a mental illness to inspire them to keep going.
Additionally, AddiRockART also wants to bring independent artists from her hometown Baltimore and Peterborough, UK. The artist shares that these areas have so much to offer, and it’s time for the world to witness what the creatives from these two cities can give to the rest of the world.
Last year, AddiRockART used her talent and influence to go global and pursue her own brand after over a decade and a half of supporting other artists. Amid the pandemic, the artist felt that it was the perfect time to launch her creativity as people were losing hope and sight of a brighter future because of the challenging times. At that time, AddiRockART brought hope and color back into people’s lives as she showcased the vibrance of her Mexican heritage and focused on opening conversations about worthy causes, including the Black Lives Matter movement.
“I want to be a full-time creative, support my family, and be able to actually champion causes with some authority. It’s amazing to see what others have achieved, and I want to be in a place to give back,” said addiRockART. Even with the challenges posed by COVID-19, AddiRockART spearheaded various campaigns and donated her works to the “COVAID” campaign in support of the medical community to gather PPEs for modern heroes in the UK.
At the beginning of 2021, AddiRockART leveraged her skills to help aspiring entrepreneurs build their brands and image through press releases and maximizing the digital space. The artist assisted them with their projects, encouraged them to make charitable contributions to their respective communities, and supported their brand identity by creating engaging visuals.
“There’s a proven formula for success, and being yourself, and then having that celebrated is a key to it,” said AddiRockART. “I’m able to supply clients with a spotlight to their endeavors, which allows them to build credibility faster—and with my graphics and design, they look good doing it,” she added.
Despite taking the time to focus on herself and her own career, AddiRockART remains relentless on her mission to build a global community of like-minded individuals, self-employed entrepreneurs, and independent artists. Learn more about AddiRockArt on her website and Instagram.
