Connor Barton is no stranger to the limelight, and his latest project has only added to his growing reputation as a versatile and talented actor. In the recently released music video for the song “9 TO 5,” performed by Kumar Sanu and Shannon K, Connor takes center stage as the lead actor, a role that has already garnered significant attention. With over 9 million views and positive feedback flooding in, his performance in the video is just one example of his ability to captivate audiences, even in a short-form visual medium like a music video.

But Connor’s story doesn’t begin or end with “9 TO 5.” His career has been steadily building momentum, showcasing his range and dedication to the craft of acting. From humble beginnings, Connor’s journey into the world of film and television is anything but ordinary. At the age of eighteen, he founded his first business and set out on a global journey, traveling to over thirteen countries to document unique cultural experiences. This early experience behind the camera gave him a broader perspective on storytelling and the art of visual expression, setting the foundation for his future in the film industry.

After earning his Diploma of Screen and Media, Connor’s career took a significant turn when he was scouted by the side of the road—an event that led to his first major job on Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis.” As Austin Butler’s double, Connor worked closely with Luhrmann and the rest of the cast, rehearsing scenes daily with top-tier actors like Tom Hanks. His experience on set allowed him to immerse himself in the art of acting, and it was here that Connor’s dedication and skill began to shine.

From “Elvis,” Connor continued to carve out a space for himself in the industry. He landed roles in Ron Howard’s “Thirteen Lives,” Netflix’s “True Spirit,” and Peacock’s “Apples Never Fall,” among other projects. His performances, whether on-screen or as a double, have consistently shown his commitment to honing his craft. But it was his work on the AMC/Disney series “Nautilus” that has truly set the stage for what’s next in his career.

Playing the villain’s sidekick, Connor’s role in “Nautilus” is one of his biggest accomplishments to date, marking a major turning point in his career. The show, already released in Sweden, Mexico, France, and Brazil, and pending release in other regions, is one of the largest productions filmed in Australia. With release dates staggered across regions, it’s poised to reach an international audience, further establishing Connor as a successful actor.

Connor’s acting credits also include roles in impactful independent films such as “Cage Dive,” “Claw,” “The Butcher’s Daughter,” “Spines,” and “The Mystical Inheritance of Adina Hassan.” Each role has contributed to his growth as an actor, and his performance in “The Last Zombie” earned him international recognition, winning an award at the IndieX Film Festival in 2021.

As an actor, writer, and producer, Connor Barton brings a unique perspective to his work. His global experiences, combined with his formal training and time spent on some of the most high-profile film sets in the world, have shaped him into a multifaceted talent. Whether it’s through his recent work in “9 TO 5,” his standout role in “Nautilus,” or his contributions to independent cinema, Connor continues to push boundaries and explore new opportunities in the entertainment industry.

With a career trajectory that shows no signs of slowing down, Connor Barton is one to keep an eye on. To stay up-to-date with his upcoming projects, follow him on Instagram or Facebook.
