Tyrone Jackson, host of “Hot In Hollywood,” has been essential to the entertainment industry for years. His career has covered all territories, which include acting, hosting, and producing. Jackson has hosted many shows, particularly the BET and NAACP Image Awards. Currently, he is putting his host experience to good use, as he is hosting the popular show, “Hot In Hollywood.”
“Hot In Hollywood” is a brand new one-of-a-kind show that takes the viewer behind the scenes of the entertainment industry as it profiles some of the biggest and most prolific careers in Hollywood and how they found their way down the path to the big screens. The show also provides insider access to Hollywood’s hottest parties and events.
With Tyrone Jackson’s impressive resume highlighting a great deal of experience in the entertainment industry, as well as host skills under his belt, it is no wonder that Jackson was chosen to by Tubi host the show.
Adam Lewinson, Chief Content Officer at Tubi, says, “We are thrilled to bring ‘Hot In Hollywood’ to Tubi. Tyrone Jackson is an exceptional host, and his show is a perfect fit for our platform. We know our viewers will love getting a peek behind the curtain of Hollywood’s biggest events.”
Jackson hopes to bring the show to other streaming platforms. He says, “Yes, both After Midnight With Tyrone Jackson and Hot In Hollywood are both on Tubi TV and trending higher each month. But, I’d like to be the number one entertainment show on Paramount Plus or NBC’s Peacock.” Let’s hope that happens for him!
The first “Hot In Hollywood” season is out now and available to stream on Tubi. It features profiles of many well-known names in Hollywood, including Kevin Hart, Halle Berry, Zendaya, Jennifer Lawrence, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Whoopi Goldberg.
When asked about who his favorite celebrity featured on “Hot In Hollywood” was, Jackson said, “My favorite celebrity profile was Whoopie Goldberg. Her contributions to the entertainment industry are overlooked. Her movies have grossed over one billion dollars. Plus, her Oscar win made history.”
Tyrone Jackson would have to say his favorite part about filming would be having two roles. “At Hot In Hollywood, I am the show’s host and the executive producer. That means I have editorial control over the celebrities we feature. DPN’s Hot In Hollywood features a broad spectrum of accomplished directors and producers, not just the most recognizable names that are popular today.”
Currently, season two of “Hot In Hollywood” is underway, with celebrity interviews starting May 31.
Tyrone Jackson is very excited about what’s to come for “Hot In Hollywood” regarding season two. He says, “Yes, we are working on season two of Hot In Hollywood right now. We have brand new feature stories like women in power and producers under thirty who are making a big impact.”
“Hot In Hollywood” season two will also include longer episodes. Instead of the typical and short 30-minute episodes in season one, season two episodes will become an hour per episode. Jackson says this will leave more time for celebrity news and excellent profiles.
