How Performance Coach and Trainer Dr. Clarice Kavanaugh Rebranded Herself Instead of Retiring

After spending over 30 years of her professional career in the corporate world helping a pharmaceutical company reach new heights year after year, most people thought that Dr. Clarice Kavanaugh was ready to embrace retirement and enjoy a new season in her life. While she did look forward to a new and exciting season, retiring was an option she felt she wasn’t ready to accept just yet. Confident that she can still make a lasting impact on various industries by sharing her skills, rare experiences, and knowledge on organizational leadership, she decided to rebrand herself and go into teaching in the university where she can transfer a wide array of knowledge to her students.

In preparation for the new adventure she welcomed in her life, Clarice Kavanaugh went back to school to elevate her credentials and finished a doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership. Armed with her latest academic preparation and her unmatched experience in sales, marketing, and training, she transitioned easily and was well-received by her students for her obvious passion and commitment to teaching. She has an MBA in International Globalization and Business Marketing. 

Apart from her teaching, the motivational speaker, executive coach, and equity and inclusion specialist also established The Kavanaugh Group, LLC, an avenue that allows her to empower people and organizations to achieve their full potential in business and in life if need be. Over the years, she has become the go-to trainer for many big organizations on topics related to diversity and inclusion, racial inequity, conflict resolutions, management, communication skills development, and team building, to mention a few. As a professor, her concentration has been on professional development, advanced coaching, and industrial organization, on top of organizational leadership. 

Dr. Clarice Kavanaugh is also a best-selling author and hosts her own podcast called The Pain of Change. Her guests include some of the top epidemiologists in the country and university presidents who share their insights on relevant concerns.
