Finding a career path that fully satisfies one’s inner desires is a difficult task. Oftentimes, individuals are met with disappointment when pursuing what is currently the societal norm. Chasing after different nine to five jobs is a tedious activity, but it’s what most people have been accustomed to. However, Marguerite Martin has found a brilliant way to separate herself from the norm finding inner happiness and fulfillment along the way.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Marguerite Martin came from a Haitian-American family with two loving parents. Her father is a pastor at the South Miami Heights Haitian Baptist Mission, and she spent much of her life growing up in church. Her family instilled traditional values within her that she would still hold to this very day.
All her life, Marguerite Martin would take the path forward into a traditional lifestyle. In 2012 she picked up an Associates’ Degree in Accounting from Miami Dade College. In 2013, she acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Ashford University and a Master’s Degree in Finance. She would also later earn a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management at Ashford University’s Forbes Business school.
“I did not know what I wanted to do after attending college. I know that, after being employed in a corporate environment, there was a disconnect between employees and human resources,” says Marguerite Martin. In those moments, she felt like she wanted to do something more because she was unsatisfied with her life.
After taking a long hard look at herself, Marguerite discovered what she really wanted to do. In the past, she’s been a video vixen for hip-hop artists in the early 2000s, so she channeled those experiences and gave it a modern twist becoming a camgirl and stripper taking on the screen names MzMargi004 and Rain.
Donning her brand new persona, Marguerite Martin felt empowered to embrace her sexuality and do her best within the path that she had chosen. In 2021, she aims to get back to the drawing board and offer more free shows in order to build on her momentum as an online performer.
Marguerite Martin is always thinking of new ways to make people comfortable and happy. She has several ideas that she wants to execute, but she admits that “she lacks the proper resources to execute them, and they just turn into dreams and wishes”. She hopes that establishing a respected personal brand will make those dreams finally come true, and she feels that she’s currently on the right track.
As an educated black woman, Marguerite maintains that she wants to diversify her career paths in the long-run. She may not know what the future exactly holds, but she knows that she wants to add value to other people’s lives, impacting them positively along the way. At the moment, she’s been doing a great job as a cam girl, and she hopes to build on her brand to fully establish her influence.
