Sommsation, the premium online wine shop and experience provider brought its highly anticipated “Sommsation Wine Lounge” back to Park City during the renowned independent film festival, offering an exclusive four-day wine experience for VIP guests and attendees.
For its 2025 edition, the event moved to Lower Main Street, operating as a pop-up hospitality lounge throughout the festival’s opening weekend from January 24–27. This marked the third consecutive year that Sommsation hosted its popular activation at the festival, this time taking over Jackson’s Hideaway Ski Lounge at 900 Main Street.
At the heart of the Sommsation Wine Lounge was the opportunity for festival-goers to indulge in an intimate and luxurious setting featuring curated wine tastings. Guests sampled a selection of wines available through the Sommsation platform, which connects independent wineries and sommeliers to wine enthusiasts worldwide. Attendees experienced sommelier-curated flights featuring selections from independent producers like Three Sticks Wines, Terratorium Wines, Halter Ranch Winery, and Alexana Winery, complemented by gourmet meats and cheeses.

The Sommsation Wine Lounge also featured a dynamic schedule of events. The Sommsation Après Ski event provided a private opening experience for VIP media and industry members, who were given an exclusive preview of the lounge, tastings, and culinary pairings. The Grand Culinary Evenings offered ultra-premium and reserve wines, accompanied by live chef demonstrations and luxury food pairings. For a lively nighttime experience, the “Vines & Vinyl” After-Hours Parties welcomed guests with champagne greetings, tastings of independent wines, and live performances by DJ Joune, the internationally acclaimed DJ known for his work with the Utah Jazz and Utah Hockey Club.
The PowerFlix Launch Party celebrated the debut of a new tech platform designed to support independent filmmakers in film distribution, led by industry veterans Robert Schwartzman and Cole Harper. The collaboration emphasized Sommsation’s commitment to small, independent wineries through advanced technology and centralized distribution solutions.

Beyond the wine lounge, Sommsation also served as the official wine partner for the annual three-day Rendezvous Cinema Center, located next door on Lower Main Street. As part of this partnership, Sommsation provided a premium wine experience for VIP casts and filmmakers celebrating their film premieres at the venue. Among the films showcased at the Rendezvous Cinema Center were Atropia, featuring A-list stars. The venue also hosted the WeAudition annual gathering, bringing together actors, industry VIPs, and talent.
Additionally, Sommsation provided wine service for Collider’s Annual Interview Studio, held at the Rendezvous Cinema Center. This studio, known for exclusive celebrity interviews, welcomed leading filmmakers and actors during their press circuits. The event featured high-profile talent, including Juliet Lewis, Rose Byrne, Dave Franco, Alison Brie, Ben Whishaw, and Rebecca Hall, among others. The Collider Studio also leveraged its influence to raise awareness and funds for wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles.
“We were thrilled to once again welcome festival-goers to the Sommsation Wine Lounge in Park City,” said Sommsation CEO Danielle Diliberti. “It was an honor to share the world’s premier independent wines with film lovers, wine aficionados, and celebrated industry professionals seeking a premium hospitality experience.”
