Keith “Youngin” George II Taking Entertainment Marketing to New Levels and Heights

While still maintaining his turf, Keith “Youngin” George II, aka DJ Youngin Beatz, has switched from one aspect of music marketing to another where he has fuller hands-on control. In his new path, Keith George no longer has to play music from various artists all by himself but now can focus on specific artists and launch them to fame with his newly found expertise.

Leaving the turntable for marketing numbers and metrics came with strategically positioning himself, gaining experience, working with industry professionals, and just generally developing himself. Today, the Oxfordshire, England-born entertainment executive has become one of the fastest evolving marketers, executive producers, and A&Rs.

Keith “Youngin” George II thrives on his creativity and industry connections from his DJ days that have helped him connect many artists and music executives to more audiences, locations, and remarkable numbers. His success as an executive and marketing expert in the music business can be traced back to his DJ roots. Over the years, he has worked with numerous names in the music industry, such as Yung Berg (Hitmaka), Statik Selektah, Stack Bundles family, Swishahouse Records, Soso Def’s DJ Delz, Dj Decko, King Crooked, and more.

The journey into music marketing also did not start recently. He’s been making the moves for over a decade, starting with his internship with Def Jam executive Sarah Alminawi, who owned management company MGMT Inc. that managed recording artist Maino. Four years later, in 2022, he formed a team called Block Bleedaz with a colleague, and together, they built a formidable team of producers and songwriters. Five years later, he transitioned into talent management, with his first client being a local rock band in San Antonio that was signed to a major record label. He then went further to work with Glu Ent. in a partnership that had him co-managing recording artists Chris King and Ponce Deleioun.

With all the experience he has garnered over the years, Keith “Youngin” George II works with Los Angeles-based production company Left Lane Music Group as a music liaison and A&R. He’s also a brand ambassador for cleaning brand Snkr Glove and an associate producer for “For The Culture NYC” Podcast (FTC NYC PODCAST), a Spanglish podcast that showcases Latino culture and more. Outside the music industry, he is in a partnership with former San Antonio Spurs executive Julian Dais and entrepreneur Sean Bo to work with professional athletes and help elevate their careers.

As he continues to excel in his chosen career and build enviable legacies in the entertainment industry, Keith “You gin” George II sees himself becoming a successful entertainment marketer and entrepreneur. His journey is continually fueled by his kids.
