Hayden Todd is Steadily Cementing Himself as a Positive Role Model in the LGBTQ Community

The entertainment industry is home to the world’s most talented people. In this day and age, countless artists have been pushing the boundaries and making massive strides towards progress within our society. The topic of LGBTQ representation in mass media has always been a tricky subject, but luckily the world is slowly moving past that obstacle, embracing artists for their genuine personalities no matter their gender. Hayden Todd is among the rising artists these days that are championing the LGBTQ movement, setting an example for the whole world to see.

Hayden Todd is a rising artist in the entertainment industry who has been making waves since the release of his first album in 2019, entitled GAYPOCALYPSE. Since the start of his career, he has dipped his toes in several media industries, such as film and music. Nowadays, he is showing his full support to the community to which he belongs, dazzling the international community with his pride above all else.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 21, 1994, and raised in Burley, Idaho, Hayden Todd found his love for the entertainment industry at a young age. At five years old, his father introduced him to John Carpenter’s 1978 Hollywood horror classic “Halloween,” and he hasn’t looked back ever since. The experience built the foundation for his love and passion for horror films and ignited a desire within him to be a part of the entertainment industry.

“I knew that he was destined to entertain in one form or another,” said Hayden. At ten years old, Hayden Todd got into rap music by listening to famous artists such as Lil’ Wayne, Eminem, Kanye West, and Nicki Minaj. “I found myself writing rhymes, lyrics, songs, and even scripts in my journals throughout my schooling,” shared the thriving entertainment icon.

Eventually, he would study at Declo High School, where he would become a part of the show choir group, the Declo High Trendsetters, for three years. In 2013, he made his way back to Salt Lake City, Utah and attended Salt Lake Community College for their film program, where he picked up the necessary skills to direct, film, and edit his own music videos.

Hayden Todd eventually stumbled upon a starring role in an independent film called “Red Eye,” written and directed by Deranged Mind Entertainment back in 2016. His passion for rap music would lead him to eventually shoot his first music parody, “Lawn Guy.” The parody was then followed up by “Salt Lake City Dreams,” both of which sparked his love of music and writing.

Then in 2020, he released his most popular song to date, “Barbie Girl.” He did several features in other songs: “FBoy Fall,” “3, 2, 1 Vogue,” “Another Guy (Remix),” “Cap,” and a couple of freestyles to “Whole Lotta Choppas” and “Trollz.” At the height of his popularity, Hayden would soon gain 55,000 followers on Tik Tok due to a video of him lip-syncing to the Golden Girls.

In 2021, Hayden Todd would see the release of his second album entitled Hayden Todd: Volume One. Since the release of his second album, the rising entertainment artist has done local performances at The Sun Trapp, an LGBTQ Bar in Salt Lake City, Utah, along with other local venues and other LGBTQ events.

“With each new song that I write and each new performance, my strength as an entertainer constantly grows. My current single, “Long Lost Love,” is a testament to my growth as an artist and is only a stepping stone for music yet to come. With the support of my family, friends, and fans (my Hot Toddies), I hope to see myself as being a strong role model and voice for the LGBTQ community,” shared Hayden Todd.

His most notable performance was opening for LGBTQ icon Todrick Hall at the Loud & Queer SLC Pride 2021. He has been requested to perform in the Las Vegas Pride, which will be on October 10, 2022.
