“The book is a great pick-me-up for women. Something is empowering about finding your voice and owning it. I’ve seen so many women in various situations because of life’s circumstances, you can’t always speak your truth, use your voice, or chase your dreams, or you end up completely losing yourself and all self-confidence,” Twinkle explained.
Twinkle shared the motivation behind creating the literary masterpiece: “My experiences have shaped me. Help me grow and learn so much about myself. If you pay attention to your journey, the discoveries are endless. It makes my feet tingle, even to say that. That’s when I knew I’d experienced the magic!”
Now a celebrated author, Twinkle Zaman started writing as a young girl looking for an outlet for her emotions, writing and journaling life events she felt her peers could not relate to. As she got older, the creative genius found writing was a therapeutic and healing experience for her. “It’s funny; as you get older, you seem to lose touch with the side of you that believes anything is possible. As we get older, it gets harder to vocalize because—let’s be real—that’s not reality, and people often think it’s “cute or silly” that you still think that way,” she shared.
Many years into her craft, Twinkle has found a way to keep her youthful thoughts and ideas alive. “I didn’t grow up reading fairy tales. Life was anything but that. So I started believing I could create my own! I hope that’s a version of myself that stays with me forever,” she insightfully said.
