Los Angeles, CA – Nearly two years after its release, Not Anymore, the acclaimed short film directed by Immanuel Portus and starring social media celebrity and producer Matt Supes, remains a powerful testament to the enduring impact of authentic storytelling. The 2023 horror short film has continued to captivate audiences and spark conversations about mental health and bullying, earning its place as a standout project in Portus’s career. 

Since its premiere, Not Anymore has achieved over 100,000 views upon release and maintains a strong online presence. The film stars social media celebrity Matt Supes, Italian-American actor Leonardo Cecchi, and actress Ayumi Matsumoto, whose compelling performances have been widely praised.Leonardo Cecchi, known for his role as Alex Leoni in Disney Channel’s Alex & Co., brings depth to his character in Not Anymore, showcasing his versatility beyond his Disney beginnings. Ayumi Matsumoto, recognized for her role as JJ Churbuck in Chicken Girls, delivers a nuanced performance that adds layers to the film’s narrative.

For Portus, it marked a stepping stone toward his recent appointment as Creative Director for Sleepspa by Hästens, where he brings his storytelling prowess to the world of luxury branding. For Supes, it has paved the way for further explorations into acting and producing, showcasing

his versatility as a creative force. Supes is due to collaborate with director Zack Snyder for this year’s premiere of Superman (2025).
