On Thursday, NBC revealed that Oscar Isaac and Zoë Kravitz would be hosts of consecutive episodes of “Saturday Night Live.”
Isaac and Kravitz, first-time hosts, will take the mic after John Mulaney. He will mark his start at the highly esteemed SNL Five-Timers Club when he hosts on February 26 at the first post-winter Olympics episode with LCD Soundsystem.
Isaac has previously been on the show. The “Dune” and “Ex Machina” actor showed up in a pirate’s hat with a hook on his hand during “What Up With That” as a special guest on the Halloween episode of Jason Sudeiki.
Now, he’ll not be appearing as a guest but officially as a host, taking over on March 5. He will have Charli XCX as his musical guest. Charli XCX was supposed to join the Paul Rudd episode last December; her appearance, however, was put on hold because of COVID restrictions.
Kravitz will also pilot as a host on March 12, following Isaac. Rosalía will join her as her musical guest. “The Batman” lead actress has made an appearance on SNL before. She joined Donald Glover, known as Childish Gambino, and presented in 2018. She promoted her song “Saturday,” carrying a red Solo cup in her hand.
SNL is broadcasted on NBC on Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT.
