The son of immigrants who fled Bosnia during the Yugoslav wars, Adnan is no stranger to adversity. He grew up in a family who had to make ends meet while navigating the hardships that come hand in hand with settling in a foreign land. “Before I was born, my mother, sister, and aunt had to go into hiding in Bosnia after war authorities captured my father,” he recalled. “They eventually escaped to Germany. Once my family was all back together, we packed one backpack full of clothes for my parents, myself, and my sister to share. These were the only possessions we had the means to bring into our new home.”
Watching his parents work three jobs each and pour blood, sweat, and tears into raising him and his older sister in a new country sparked within Adnan a dream that would eventually come to fruition years down the road.
“My family’s struggles showed me the difference between living and surviving,” said the well-respected agent. “I promised myself I would create a future that would be better for all of us one day.”
Bringing with him this promise and a hunger to achieve his goals, Adnan barrelled through all barriers to success, from physical injuries and rejections to financial hardships. Today, he stands in the limelight, recognized as one of the top real estate agents in the nation.
