French Composer and Pianist Vincent Lanty Is Making the World His Stage

France’s piano prodigy Vincent Lanty is conquering the world stage as he brings his musical gifts all over the globe by collaborating with many of the music industry’s biggest names. The young and thriving music director, arranger, composer, and producer is creating an impressive ripple effect in the music business, motivating a lot of music artists to invite him to their team to go on tour or produce an album together. What he has going for himself, apart from his exceptional skills on the piano, is his admirable work attitude as seen in his dedication, hard work, and diligence. 

Vincent Lanty has had the rare privilege of working alongside big names in the music business, including Rihanna. Rihanna’s manager Marc Jordan discovered him when he appeared on France’s biggest entertainment television show Star Academy that had an average of seven million viewers that year alone. Thanks to Dominique Duforest, who would later become Vincent’s manager, he was able to attract so many important personalities during his stint with Star Academy. Two weeks later, he became part of the band that performed alongside Rihanna when she did a performance on the show. Little did the 22-year-old Vincent Lanty know that the event would change his life forever. 

The Star Academy and Rihanna opportunities paved the way for more exciting projects. Vincent Lanty started collaborating with world-famous directors, producers, composers, and well-known singers, all of whom were deeply impressed and inspired by his skills. He has played the piano, produced, and wrote songs for Rihanna, Carly Rae Jepsen, Nelly Furtado, Robin Thicke, One Direction, Celine Dion, Little Mix, Rita Ora, Alessia Cara, Cris Cab, As Animals, France Gall, Matt Pokora, Jenifer, Pascal Obispo, and Lou, among others. 

Over the years, Vincent Lanty was able to successfully broaden his horizons, from running studio sessions with orchestras to leading live bands for major television shows such as The Voice. From 2015 to 2018, he joined Résiste, France’s biggest musical with more than 200 shows across the country, as musical director and lead pianist. 

In 2015, the French hip-hop and R&B superstar Vitaa asked Vincent Lanty to join her dynamic team as musical director and pianist. He worked with her for more than four years, creating original arrangements and leading the band on over 100 shows for the artist’s sold-out tour J4M from 2016 to 2019. From then on, he became Vitaa’s number one consultant and musical expert. Additionally, he also worked with Lou, French pop star and The Voice finalist in 2016. He produced and composed her two biggest hits, including Qui Pourrait, her first single that made it to number six on the French charts. The single sold more than 50,000 copies and helped Vincent Lanty get a gold certification, France’s most sought-after recognition for best-selling albums. 

Vincent Lanty relocated to the United States in 2019 to pursue new heights in his career. He has been working on developing a list of promising emerging indie artists, including Ameet Kanon, Little Luna, and Tam-Tam. The following year, he signed a deal with SIZZER to do music production projects for big business entities, such as Nintendo, BMW, Honda, AXA, San Pellegrino, Mulino Bianco, Voltaren, and Stella Artois. In 2021, he signed another deal with Imalaya of Paris to compose and produce music for Dior commercials. This year, he also wrote the single “Problème” for Valentina, the French Eurovision winner. One week before it was released, the album became the most purchased record on Amazon and reached number on the French Billboard. His latest project involves writing an album for Marghe, the latest winner in a French television show, The Voice. The album is due for release in February 2022. Vincent Lanty is finding success in all facets of his music career by leaps and bounds. There is no doubt that he will continue to reap phenomenal projects in the future as he remains committed to creating beautiful music for everyone to enjoy.
