International music artist 2K Ponce Juno made a resounding launch last January 2021 with his single titled Go Pretty Girl Remix, which features Beenie Man and Double K. Produced by Max, the recent release from the thriving hip-hop artist is fast-becoming a crowd favorite due to its vibe and his songwriting skills. The song was premiered by DJ Drewski on Hot 97.1 and spread across the globe like wildfire. His latest release, This Life, is expected to be a phenomenal hit as it is growing a considerable number of following on various streaming platforms that include Apple Music, Spotify, and Roku TV.
The artist is best known for his classic collaborations with some of the industry’s most talented music producers from the time he started his career with the release of his album called Concrete. Back in 2012, he launched his first project, Chicken Grease n’ Grits. In 2019, he released Coolli Brandz. He is currently signed under Sony Music Group and is the new ambassador of Revanche, a thriving clothing brand.
Aside from being a promising music artist, 2K Ponce Juno is also the owner of Ellipse Group Records Global and EGR Global Music Publishing, an entertainment music label that has been home to several urban and hip-hop music sensations.
2K Ponce Juno was motivated to develop his personal brand after realizing that he is not wired to work for other people. He has had several jobs in the past before pursuing his music career, and they all did not last. It made him see that he was indispensable. Additionally, he wanted to show people that somebody from Staten Island can still make it big in one of the most competitive industries in the world today. Growing up in a tough neighborhood taught him the value of hard work and making the right connections with people regardless of their culture and background. It was also during his time in the projects that he developed a passion for music. He can draw inspiration from anything around him and come up with the most life-altering songs.
In the next five years, 2K Ponce Juno envisions introducing new stars in the music industry through Ellipse Group Records Global. Understanding how difficult it is for many aspiring artists to break into the industry, he wants to be instrumental in helping them achieve their dreams of being able to share their music with the rest of the world—having seen the many ups and downs of being in the music industry, keeping the right attitude matters a lot to him. It is also for this reason why he feels it is ideal for helping out up-and-coming talented artists when they are just starting out.
