2. Your work with Troma and Lloyd Kaufman has a strong cult legacy. What did that environment teach you about taking creative risks on screen?

“Working with Lloyd Kaufman and Troma was like a crash course in creative freedom. There was an energy of experimentation where you learned to commit fully, trust your instincts, and not overthink everything. It taught me that audiences respond to authenticity and bold choices, even when the material is unconventional.”

3. You’ve worked across cult films, indie features, and television. Which format do you feel challenged you the most as a performer?

“Each format challenges you differently, but independent films probably pushed me the most emotionally because you often have fewer resources and tighter schedules, which means you have to rely heavily on instinct and presence. There’s a rawness to independent filmmaking that can be incredibly demanding but also very rewarding.”

4. Slaughter Daughter showed a darker, more intense side of your acting. What drew you to that role at the time?

“I was interested in exploring something psychologically darker and more layered. As an actor, it’s exciting to step outside of your comfort zone and play characters that are emotionally unpredictable. Roles like that allow you to stretch creatively in a completely different way.”

5. At what point did producing become more than just an interest and start becoming a serious part of your career?

“Producing became serious for me when I realized how much I loved shaping the bigger picture creatively, not just performing within it. I became very interested in development, storytelling, casting, visual tone, and the process of bringing the right people together to build a project from the ground up.”

6. As a producer, what kinds of projects are you actively trying to bring into development right now?

“Right now I’m very drawn to documentary storytelling, elevated lifestyle content, and projects that combine strong visual atmosphere with emotionally compelling narratives. I’m also interested in projects centered around reinvention, culture, and human transformation.”

7. Do you find that your acting experience gives you an advantage when building projects for other performers?

“Absolutely. Having been on set as an actor gives me a strong understanding of what performers need creatively and emotionally in order to do their best work. I think it also helps me recognize authenticity in casting and performance very quickly.”

8. There’s a growing interest in seeing you return more fully to acting roles. What kinds of characters or scripts excite you today?

“I’m very interested in roles that are emotionally sophisticated and multidimensional, women with depth, intelligence, elegance, and complexity. I also love stories with strong psychological or character-driven elements. At this stage, I’m much more interested in meaningful material than simply being on screen.”

9. Would you consider combining your producing and acting work in the same projects moving forward?

“Definitely. I actually enjoy the balance of being creatively involved behind the scenes while also stepping into a role when it feels right for the project. Producing gives me a deeper connection to the storytelling process overall.”

10. Looking ahead, what does the next chapter look like for you, as both an actress and a producer?

“I see the next chapter as a real creative expansion. I’m continuing to develop projects I’m passionate about while also remaining open to the right acting opportunities. More than anything, I want to create work that feels visually compelling, emotionally resonant, and culturally relevant.”
