This Friday, Cardi B will release her latest single, “Hot Shit,” produced by Tay Keith.
She dropped the announcement with a commercial during last night’s BET Awards and confirmed it on social media.
Cardi B’s last album, Invasion of Privacy, was released in 2018. “Hot Shit” is her first-ever song as a solo artist after 2021’s “Bet It.”
Cardi also notified Summer Walker and SZA after the release of “Bet It” for an extended version of “No Love.” She then joined her co-rappers from Bronx Kay Flock and Dougie B for their collaboration “Shake It.”
The talented singer-rapper is currently working on collaborations with other artists. She has tapped Lizzo (“Rumors”), Normani (“Wild Side”), Migos (“Type Shit”), and Summer Walker (“Bitter”) in 2021 alone.
The singer has also performed in the 2021 Grammy Awards, singing “Up” and “WAP.”
Cardi B is not only a successful musician but also a mommy to two children and an actress. She is set to star in Assisted Living.
She also held on to her commitment to her Bronx roots by teaming up with the New York City mayor’s office to assist in covering burial expenses for the families of the 17 individuals killed in the Bronx apartment fire on January 9.
