Hot Fun in the Summertime at Boomers Parks

Summer is starting, and we know what that means: school is out, and kids are eager for something to do, leaving parents scrambling to find fun activities for the whole family. Well, fear not, because Boomers Parks and Big Kahuna’s Water Parks offer the perfect family fun you are looking for this summer.

Boomers operates five family entertainment centers in California and one in Florida. They also operate two Big Kahuna’s Water Parks — one in Florida and one in New Jersey. The Boomers brand is known for providing summertime fun through their variety of attractions to families with kids of all ages.

Summer fun at Boomers family entertainment centers

The most recent addition to the Boomers brand is Boomers Los Angeles, which was previously Speedzone LA. Boomers Los Angeles is the company’s fifth location in California and their next step in becoming the number-one name in family entertainment centers in the Golden State.

Go-karts are the highlight of any visit to Boomers. “With a variety of tracks that range from rookie level to ones that are a bit more high-octane, all kids — or kids at heart — will love our go-karts,” asserts Brandon Moore, VP of Operations at Boomers Parks.

With tracks at all six locations — Los Angeles, Livermore, Modesto, Santa Maria, Irvine, and Boca Raton — Boomers is the perfect place to go for a ride. “Whether this is your first time go-karting and you just want to take it for a spin, or you’re in it to win it in a race against your friends and family, Boomers Parks are for you,” says Moore.

Miniature golf is also one of the family favorites at any Boomers. All locations feature a miniature golf course with holes that are both challenging and fun. “Families love our mini-golf courses,” says Boomers CEO Tim Murphy. “Both putt-putt enthusiasts and families looking for outdoor fun will have a great time at Boomers.”

If you’re looking for more of an intense thrill while visiting Boomers, some locations have more extreme attractions, such as the Flame Thrower in Modesto and Irvine. Although these rides aren’t for the faint of heart, they are sure to satisfy even the most hardcore thrill-seekers who visit this summer.

With lazer tag arenas in their Boca Raton, Livermore, Modesto, and Irvine locations, this is the perfect indoor fun if you’re looking to escape the summer heat or if you’re looking for some indoor fun on a rainy day. The blacklight battlegrounds at the Boomers locations are some of the best you can find.

Arcades at many of the Boomers Parks locations are an excellent way to unwind with plenty of games, from arcade classics to the newest and hottest titles that everyone can’t wait to play. Their vast selection of games — as well as their on-site redemption centers boasting prizes from every kid or young adult’s dreams — are bound to give your family hours of entertainment. And the best part is that they are free to enter, allowing your family to have hours of affordable fun under one roof.

You’ll get hungry when you spend a long day at a family entertainment center or waterpark, and Boomers has you covered. Their Chill Zone restaurants have all-new upgraded menus with everything you could want, like burgers, pizza, Nashville hot chicken, and now Caribbean fare including jerk chicken and Caribbean boneless wings. If you have a sweet tooth you need to satisfy, they have plenty of scrumptious desserts too.

Take a plunge at Big Kahuna’s

Boomers Parks now operates Big Kahuna’s water park in West Berlin, NJ, formerly known as Sahara Sam’s. Joining the already-established Big Kahuna’s in Destin, FL, this water park delivers year-round weatherproof fun at a reasonable price.

Both of the Big Kahuna’s water parks offer an extensive lineup of wild and fun water attractions and slides. There are plenty of options for thrill-seekers that are sure to get your adrenaline pumping, from free-falling speed slides to winding plunges you will never forget. The particularly daring can also try out the FlowRider boogie board attraction, which lets you boogie board without the sharks.

But even if you aren’t looking for water-based thrills this summer, Big Kahuna’s water parks have plenty of options for you. From leisure and wave pools to lazy rivers, Big Kahuna’s is a great place for you to go relax and splash around in the summer sun.

Of course, what would a great water park be without offerings for the young ones? Both Big Kahuna’s parks have a selection of shallow pools, play areas, and kiddie slides that bring bite-sized thrills for those who aren’t quite big enough to go on the parks’ more extreme offerings.

What better way to relax than in your own exclusive oasis? Private Cabana rentals are available at both Big Kahuna’s. These VIP areas overlook some of the most gorgeous portions of the water park. “Our cabanas are a wonderful place for families to take a break from their day of fun,” says Moore, “Or, better yet, for parents to kick back while the kiddos go and play.”

Boomers Parks Family Entertainment Centers is offering a special promotion for the summer: the End of School Ultimate 2-Pack Ticket Special. This promotion includes two all-day attractions passes valid any day from now until the end of December 2022 — a value of more than $100 — for only $75. But you have to act fast because this promotion is only valid through June 4, 2022!

Whether you’re looking to take a plunge at the water park, race on some go-karts, or just have an overall good time, Boomers and Big Kahuna’s has you covered.
