Kimi Weintraub Shares How Her One-Minute Pitch Landed Her a Deal With Her Idol

They say people need one break, one pivotal point that could turn a life around. Kimi Weintraub proves that it is indeed possible for one moment to launch a person to greater heights. Leveraging her skills, Kimi built her e-commerce content creation company from the ground up. With a business model relevant to today’s entrepreneurial landscape, Kimi landed a game-changing deal from a one-minute pitch on Clubhouse’s Pitch Tank.

Kimi Weintraub is a full-time spokesmodel and commercial model. Being the voice and face of many brands in the digital space has propelled her confidence and strengthened her connections with big names in various industries. At the onset of the pandemic, Kimi witnessed how many companies began offering their products and services on online platforms such as Shopify, ETSY, as well as their own “thrown together” e-commerce websites. On a mission to help brands achieve their goals online and increase revenue, Kimi tailored her company to focus on brick-and-mortar business owners.

She began casually marketing her services through social media platforms until she joined the new and exclusive app, Clubhouse. Despite only joining the platform last month, Kimi gained a stream of requests, filling her schedule to the brim. “Clubhouse has given me a huge opportunity to build connections with these business owners and drive sales to my company”, Kimi stated.

Additionally, Clubhouse provided an opportunity for Kimi Weintraub to be one of 2,000 people chosen to pitch a business idea on Clubhouse’s Pitch Tank, which mimics the format of ABC’s hit show Shark Tank. The panel was comprised of high-profile celebrities and multi-millionaires such as Shark Tank’s original shark Kevin Harrington, Undercover Billionaire Grant Cardone, and the founders of multi-billion-dollar companies such as Netflix, Tinder, and Twitch.

Pitching after five other business owners, Kimi Weintraub became the first to land a deal based on her one-minute pitch. As soon as she finished delivering her idea, Kimi had at least five “sharks” who wanted to partner with her e-commerce content creation company. “Kevin Harrington even expressed interest in working with his well-known empire, As Seen on TV, to be a spokesmodel,” she shared.

“I ended up choosing the perfect mentor for me, Akemi Sue Fisher, who is known as the ‘Amazon Queen’ with over $2 billion in sales”. Akemi is known as one of the most trusted e-commerce brand consultants in the world and has helped thousands of brands scale their Amazon revenue to the six, seven, and even eight-figure mark. “We’ve already had meetings discussing the next step to scaling, expanding, and integrating my services to her already booming Amazon and e-commerce optimization company. This is just the beginning,” she added.

Kimi Weintraub feels honored to have partnered with a strong and inspiring female entrepreneur. As a woman in the entertainment industry, Kimi has faced much hardship, and she expressed that people aspiring toward the same career should have thick skin. Through entrepreneurship, she wants to foster women’s empowerment and inspire others along the way.

“I want to be an inspiration for anyone who dreams of starting their own business and brand themselves. Being an on-camera speaker, I have learned the power of the voice and the benefits of being a confident speaker in all aspects of life. One of my favorite quotes is ‘perfection is the enemy of progress,’ so stop trying to perfect your idea and just start today!”
