The city of Memphis was filled with elegance, inspiration, and purpose on June 21, 2026, as community leaders, public officials, entrepreneurs, entertainers, clergy, and advocates gathered for the highly anticipated 2026 ICONIC Awards Show at the Reign Event Center.

Presented by Telecast Media Group under the leadership of Founder and CEO Michael Dockery, and with Keith Neal serving as Co-Executive Producer, the annual event once again showcased the very best of leadership, service, and Black excellence while delivering a unified message against gun violence.

Hosted by veteran broadcaster Stan Bell, the invitation-only celebration brought together influential voices from Memphis and beyond to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions through community service, advocacy, leadership, and professional achievement.

More than an awards ceremony, the ICONIC Awards has evolved into a platform that celebrates accomplishment while encouraging meaningful dialogue around issues impacting communities throughout Memphis and across the nation.

From the moment guests arrived on the red carpet, the evening reflected sophistication and purpose. The beautifully designed venue welcomed an audience of business executives, elected officials, nonprofit leaders, educators, faith leaders, entertainers, and civic advocates who gathered to honor those making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Among the evening’s most notable guests was acclaimed actor Ricco Ross, currently appearing in Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black. Ross is also widely recognized for his role in the blockbuster film Aliens and appearances in popular television series, including Nash Bridges and ER. Throughout his distinguished career, Ross has earned international recognition for his contributions to film, television, and theater.

Joining him was award-winning actress and producer Elise Neal, whose successful career includes starring roles in hit television series The Hughleys and All of Us, along with numerous film and television appearances. Neal has long been admired for her dedication to community engagement and her efforts to inspire young people to pursue careers in entertainment and business.

The event also featured actress Sydney Mitchell, known for her role in the hit STARZ series BMF, and actress Jasmine Burke, recognized for her work in Beyond the Gates. Their presence further elevated the evening’s celebration of achievement, representation, and leadership.

Also recognized during the event was faith leader Rev. Johnson Saulsbury, whose years of service and commitment to community empowerment continue to impact lives throughout the region.

Judge Sheila Renfroe, who oversees the Mental Health Court, was also among those recognized during the event for her service on the bench and her work supporting individuals facing mental health challenges within the court system.

Judge Jennifer Fitzgerald was recognized for her service and leadership within the judicial system, as well as her continued efforts on behalf of the communities she serves.

According to Michael Dockery, the mission of the ICONIC Awards extends far beyond recognition.

“Memphis is filled with extraordinary people doing extraordinary work every day,” Dockery said. “The ICONIC Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate those accomplishments while bringing our community together around causes that matter. We want to honor success, but we also want to inspire change.”

One of the most powerful themes of the evening centered on addressing gun violence and promoting safer communities.

Among those lending their voices to the cause were Judge Chris Fulla and advocate and businessman Sean Burke, both of whom publicly expressed their support for initiatives focused on reducing gun violence, strengthening neighborhoods, and creating opportunities for young people. Their participation reinforced the importance of collective action and highlighted the role community leaders can play in fostering positive change.

Throughout the evening, speakers emphasized mentorship, education, economic development, and community engagement as critical components in addressing violence and building stronger futures. The message resonated deeply with attendees who understand that lasting solutions require collaboration among government agencies, schools, businesses, faith organizations, law enforcement, and community stakeholders.

Guests were inspired by stories of perseverance, resilience, and service from individuals who have dedicated themselves to improving the lives of others. These stories served as reminders that Memphis continues to be home to leaders committed to creating opportunities and advancing positive change.

Under Dockery’s leadership, Telecast Media Group has built a reputation for producing events that combine entertainment with purpose. With Keith Neal serving as Co-Executive Producer, the 2026 ICONIC Awards continued that tradition by creating a platform where recognition, leadership, and social responsibility intersect.

The event also provided opportunities for networking and collaboration as business leaders, public officials, nonprofit organizations, and creatives gathered under one roof to explore partnerships and initiatives that can further strengthen Memphis communities.

As the evening came to a close, attendees left inspired by both the honorees and the larger mission behind the event. The 2026 ICONIC Awards demonstrated that when communities come together to celebrate achievement while confronting important challenges, meaningful progress becomes possible.

For many in attendance, the event represented more than an awards show. It symbolized hope, unity, leadership, and a shared commitment to building a safer and stronger future.

Through the vision of Michael Dockery, the leadership of Co-Executive Producer Keith Neal, and the participation of distinguished guests including Ricco Ross, Elise Neal, Sydney Mitchell, Jasmine Burke, Judge Chris Fulla, Sean Burke, and Rev. Johnson Saulsbury, the 2026 ICONIC Awards united Memphis leaders and national entertainment figures in a stand against gun violence while honoring those who continue to make a lasting impact in their communities.

As Memphis continues to move forward, the ICONIC Awards remain an example of how culture, leadership, and purpose can come together to inspire change, celebrate excellence, and strengthen the bonds that unite a community.
